Proven methods for exterior skin treatment:

• Spot removal: Small bumps or blemishes (spots) on the surface can be carefully removed using special tools or abrasives. It is important to apply even pressure to avoid damaging the surrounding area.
• Dent removal: Dents and dings can be removed using tapping techniques. Our staff uses a special procedure to avoid damaging the component.
• Scratch removal: Superficial scratches can be removed by polishing or sanding. We take extreme care to ensure that we do not introduce any new imperfections into the surface when using an orbital sander.
• Sink mark removal: We expertly remove production-related sink marks using special tapping techniques and specialized tools. This requires a sensitive approach to the material to avoid damaging the component or thinning the material.
• Eliminating waviness: Using a honing stone or high-gloss oil, these imperfections are made visible. Sanding tools such as an orbital sander, sanding block, and, if necessary, a plane are then used to remove them. The end result is a flawless surface.
• Correcting ground-down radii: If radii have been lost due to improper machining, they can be restored through targeted grinding and shaping. This requires precise tools and expertise to achieve the desired contour.
